poly's real fun and its very very independent loh.. and i'm kinda glad that i sorta made the right choice of coming to hospitality and tourism.. school's great and the classmates are well.. um very hospitable?!

yup.. all the activities have passed.. its now time to seriously pack up my feelings and study for the diploma... today was quite alright.. had microecons lecture in the morning.. quite scary though cuz the lecturer managed to squeeze like everything i learnt in aj into like 1.5 hours lecture loh.. thank god i did stuff like opportunity cost and ppc b4. otherwise sure die.. i dunno how the others are though... quite a lotta blur faces when they walked out of the lt.. hehe...

went with the class, well most of them, to tampines mall after much delay cuz we had like 2.5 hours to kill... though it was kinda a duh trip cuz we jus at in the food court and played in toy-r-us. yes PLAYED. but that was fun. seriously.

den attended the basic computing skills (bcs) lab lesson.. three hours. but quite ok though cuz finally got out usernames and passwords to access the tp internet... which is kinda cool compared to IVLE.. (sorry peeps) and got to design webpage using dreamweaver.. (my dream holiday anyone?) hehe...

and somehow or another, the amount each person has to pay has ballooned to $30... let me attempt to break it down otherwise pple will start saying that i swallow money.. :(
$15 for orientation package, $6.50 for APEL book, and the rest will go into photocopying notes.. which is kinda a hassle cuz the printer's located in school of it and i have to walk over there like almost everyday to collect stuff? dotz.

and good news.. tmr i only have to attend 1 hour lecture will do but meeting christine and josephine to do the bsc work... so gotta wake up earlier again... but its kinda alright, not complaining. much.

den gotta go down to science centre again to collect my paycheck and topup my shortages... kinda stupid loh cuz they cannot subtract the shortages from my paycheck and i've got to like travel from one part of the island to another just to settle it.. dotz. waste my time. hope i'll never need to step into science centre again after tomorrow.. crossing my fingers..

first day @ school.. woohoo!

been living on a sugar rush these few days.. dotz.. quite hyper.. hope it will gradually subside...

today's the first day of the new term @ temasek poly and it officially marks my arrival as a freshie.. and my lessons where kinda great cuz i had to go to school for the whole of 2 hours only.

the lesson's kinda duh. intro to hospitality and tourism.. how boring can it get? and mr low's jus kinda lame at times.. which is GOOD otherwise i'll just drop dead. wat to do, he's my care person.. but the content itself was interesting loh, and i was copying notes like crazy. which was very enjoyable as i've not done that for a LONG time..

and i've jus been saboed into the role of class rep (aka pd rep) by my fellow 46-ians... yeah! way to go! -_-''' haiz. pple, pls bring $15 tmr for the orientation kit k? thanks!

the book for intro to hospi and touri costs $44.. which was kinda ok in my opinion (and terence's) cuz the other sujects would most prob cost more.. and it lasts three years.. or in the words of mr low "even after you graduate, these books can last you a lifetime" oh pls...

tmr meeting the class for lunch (cuz some people too lazy to meet for breakfast, myself included) and having microECONS lecture early in the morning at 10! dotz. and no apel (applied principles for effective living) somemore.. 2 hours break. guess we're gonna slack @ biz park...

finally the exhibition came to a close.. it has been a long three months, three months worth of complaining, three months worth of sweat and blood, and most importantly, three months of memories enough to last me a lifetime.. so a big thank you to the heads: sarah, francis, zai, aprace and ruby for the guidances and lessons you pple have taught me.. to my colleagues, alain, haslina, edmund, you guys are the best man!! all my big bros and sis.. hehe, seems very old right, too bad, cuz YOU ARE!! to the newbies, xiangyan, hengjie, benson,heng jie and melanie, though you've only been with us for a short while, you pple have been a great asset to the team and we couldn't do without anyone of you!! thank you thank you! to those who left us (hehe) in search of greener pastures (in short, better pays) miss you so much! to marilyn, eileen, great great minds man! all the best! to my jie meis, yin xia, jaree, janis, yuan wen, ai qi, you guys are simply the best of the best man.. thanks for the many hours of endless chatting, of horrendous laughters and jus crapping! you ROCK!!! and to gadaffi, clarise, ravi, thanks for being there all the way, couldn't have done it without you pple!

yes, i DID join the competition, though i didn't make it thru for some unknown reason (hehe) it was certainly a great experience for me and an extremely fun one as well.. (singing our lungs out in the holding room... hehe...) met great pple like tong joo, debbie! and nick... and all the best to debbie, hope that she'll go all the way!! good luck gal! and to joel alex shieh and bert, u pple can do it! dream the impossible dream!

in long, freshmen orientation camp.. though i didn't really see the rationale behind the random sorting of pple in the subempires (i mean, why bother when you're not gonna be seeing the rest of your group members for like ever and ever? shouldn't you just group them according to houses or something?) but i had fun! real huge tremendous fun... cheered my hearts out and danced till almost dropped dead (almost). and who can forget the resounding success of our final night performance? esp mr gatsby kelvin? hehe. great spontaneous dude man. and of cuz, our beloved ms tp contestants, alicia,victor,phillip and the rest? thanks for making the show a success and me the mc, extremely extremely proud? thank you. a tip of the hat to our gls and fas to, esp alvin, nicole, grace for always ensuring that the show runs smoothly. and my heartfelt gratitude goes to my gls, ben,benson,krishnan,marcus and CHERRY!! hehe... u guys are god man!! and hyper hyper energizer bunnies! love ya love ya love ya! and to rectors, great group. wat more can i say? wat more can i ask for?

went for the orientation for the business school today.. met my classmates for the next semester, and they absolutely ROCKED!!!!! the whole class jus like clicked automatically.. just.like.that. yeah man! to da jie da christine, thanks for always taking the lead and being so concerned about the pple around you... you'll always be our DA JIE DA!!!
